me welcome all of you, especially you faithful
Mark Sanchez fans,

Here we are; the start of another highly anticipated college
football season. And what a promising year it will be for us Trojans
with Mark Sanchez at the helm.
This is Mark Sanchez’s year to shine! It is Sanchez that led USC to
its
largest margin of victory ever over our long held rival Notre Dame.
He filled the void when it mattered most in late 2007 and proved
that his arm is a weapon packed with punch.
 Because
of you, SanchezFans.com received national attention from writers and
sports fans in 2007 for its pre-game blog post prior to USC’s game
against Notre Dame. This year will be no exception as we aim to
provide you with a forum to promote USC football and show why the
men of Troy are simply the best in the nation.
I invite you to use this site as a source for the latest and up to
the minute press coverage in college football, to add to the
discussion by taking part in the blog and posting your thoughts, and
by sending in your photos of SC football moments to be shared by
other fans who value this site.
Since Mark Sanchez left high school in Mission Viejo, I have been
excited about the prospects and possibilities his talent would bring
to USC football and contribute to the great tradition USC has widely
been revered and respected for, and yes, even envied.
We are talking about a man who as a senior quarterback at Mission
Viejo High School in 2004 was given over 20 different distinguished
awards from across California and the country honoring and
acknowledging his awesome talent on the field.
In 2005 Mark redshirted as a freshman at USC. That same year he won
USC’s Service Team Offensive Player of the Year Award. Even that
year there was speculation Mark could possibly become such a
powerhouse quarterback that he would fill the team’s starting
position. But is was in 2006 where Mark would assert his talent on
the field and battled for the starting quarterback position.
During the 2007 football season, talk about Mark’s talent only
esclated. For a guy to have the arsenal of talent that Mark Sanchez
does, I it is only wise for USC to begin to use it. After a healthy
competition for the starting quarterback position this year, it
became clear that Sanchez was the man for the job. I admire Mark’s
loyalty to the team and his willingness to “put in his dues” by
waiting in the wings of John David Booty. Like Leinart waited in the
wings of Carson Palmer, Booty waiting in the wings of Leinart, so
did Sanchez in the wings of Booty. Now, his time has come to
continue the dominance only USC football can demonstrate.
As founder of this site it is my hope to have a groundswell of
support among fans for Mark Sanchez.
Let’s continue to show the public here in Southern California and
throughout every college campus in America that SC fans are truly
committed, proud and the best when it comes to the men of Troy. And
in this case, let’s demonstrate now the unprecedented support Mark
Sanchez has earned from us, his loyal Sanchez fans!
When this sight reaches its full potential I plan to have it become
one of the most visited, talked about, widely used means for
communication, blogging and information for one of the country’s
rising stars in the football world.
